The only thing we care about as much as (or more than) art is reading and books but also maybe food…
Presented with the space to do something in our mission gallery, our thoughts quickly went to a thought we had now and then: having a bookstore. We spent the majority of our free weekend time out looking for books and reading some of the things we got.
Our concept: a tightly-edited array of new fiction and art books: the books we love and/or want to own/read.
Then a collection of vintage treasures: art, science fiction, fiction… good books, and lots of them.

Jackie’s pics: an every-other-month subscription service in which Jackie Im chooses a book for us all to read.
Jackie will select a book that she has either read and loved or a soon-to-be-released book that she's excited about. Each book will be accompanied by a little written text by Jackie and links to interesting related content online.
Selected books will be mostly fiction (with a few non-fiction, essays, or poetry sprinkled in) and will hopefully be something that you love as well. Books can be shipped as well as be picked up in our shop in the Mission
