Jaimie Healy (b. 1977, New Jersey) creates work that moves across disciplines from painting, to sculpture, and performance, often also drawing from the written word in poetry, philosophy, and psychology. her art is a form of writing, where one encounters objects as words and arrangement, a syntax in which none of the relationships are manifest.
Healy’s practice explores the limits of our language, regardless of genre their work engages with the visualization of consciousness, temporality, and language and consistently investigates the nature of perception. She studies Art in the Bay area and received both her BFA and MFA.
